Spring is Coming

Every year the crocuses push up from the ground.  It is always a source of delight.

10 My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.
11 For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone;
12 The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;
13 The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.

Song of Solomon 2: 10-13

We have gotten some of our worst winter storms in February and March, so, even though spring is just around the corner, I'm not celebrating just yet. Happy Skywatching.

OH! It really does look like spring is on its way there. Snow is falling here and may turn out to e our worst storm of the season. Oh well, at least I know spring is coming. :))

I just joined your site. Lovely clouds enveloping the mountains. Most of Illinois is flat, no mountains here. We are called Flatlanders up in Wisconsin one state to the north of us. rofl.

Those crocus plants are so cute. I've never seen any peek through the ground before.

And that verse is a real favourite. My mum stitched it into a wall decoration. I love looking at it when we visit her home.

'For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone;
The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing is come.'

Blessings for a wonderful weekend.
