Dear friends,
Kenya is having a national election on Monday, March 4, 2013. For those of us in the western Hemisphere, it will still be Sunday evening while Kenyans are out voting.
The last Kenyan national elections were held December 27, 2007. It was a violent time. Kenyans and their supporters abroad don't want a repeat of this.
Please keep Kenya in your prayers for a peaceful outcome to their elections on Monday, March 4, 2013, and for God's hand to be involved in leadership selection.
Have a great weekend and may God bless your leadership too.

I didn't know about these elections. Thanks for sharing. Will be in prayer for these people at this unknown time.

Will be praying.
Thinking of the Kenyan people. There was a news report on Channel 4 a few nights ago but nothing on the mainstream BBC news. There is so much to learn about all this. I get the idea that the people are very worried and understandably so.
poor people!!! I pray for them!
Gosh, I didn't recall that about Kenya. We must truly appreciate our freedoms.
Thanks so much, Joyful, for your visit and well wishes on my blog! Susan
Hello Penny, I have prayed that God gives Kenya the very best of his blessings. much love Crystal
How sad that elections can bring on violence! I pray that all goes smoothly this time.
I pray that everything is going well in Kenya today. Hugs, Cindy
Hi Cindy, there have been some deaths on the coast today near the Somalie border which they attribute to separatists. Otherwise things seem more or less peaceful. The real test will be once election results are in tomorrow or Wednesday. Once all the votes are tabulated, we will see what the political leaders have to say and what the voters do. Most Kenyans want peace but there are always those that want to create chaos.
Hope everything is going well at your place!
Thanks for sharing.
