A Few Brave Souls

This was the sky around dinner time in Vancouver on Thursday evening.
I noticed that there were only a few birds on the wire. Usually the wire is full of birds but today only a few "brave souls" were there.
As of 10:10 p.m. it still wasn't raining.
According to the weather forecast we are supposed to get mixed sun and cloud over the Easter weekend except for  Sunday when rain is expected.
Next week glorious sunshine and warmer temperatures are expected.

Are there any Downtown Abby fans reading my blog?
I never did watch it until the very last season and I enjoyed the last season a lot.

Are any of you now watching Mr. Selfridge? I was on a television marathon catching up on Seasons 1 & 2. I still have 4 episodes to watch of Season 3 before I'm completely caught up. I'm enjoying it a lot and would like to hear your views in the comments section.

Joining in with Skywatch Friday

Thank you for visiting.
May you have a wonderful Easter weekend with family and loved ones ♥

Over here, even with last night's rain, the weather is still extremely hot here. Staying in the house with the fan full blast. Have a blessed Good Friday!

I'm a Downton fan and I love it. It's worth revisiting the earlier episodes -- they are some of the best (and make this last season make more sense in context.) And yes, looking forward to Mr. Selfridge's return. And Grantchester!

I'm currently reading "Lady Almina and the Real Downton Abbey," which is quite good so far. You can see where Julian Fellowes drew much of his inspiration.

I am a huge Downton fan, you need to start fro the beginning to get the whole story. Now for Mr. Selfridge, I tried it but was not thrilled, maybe I should try again?
Hugs and Happy Easter,
Meredith

I will try to watch some of the earlier episodes though I find it hard to do once I know the ending. I see that Season 4 of Mr. Selfridge will start soon and I've got one more installment of Season 3 to watch so I'll be ready :-)

Hi Meredith, yes, do try watching Mr. Selfridge again. I found watching a few episodes together got me into the show much better. When I only watched one episode at the very beginning it didn't quite grab my interest. Happy Easter to you and your family :-)

Hi Anita, I didn't watch the Bible series yet but I recorded it. I hope to watch it later. I'm glad you are enjoying Mr. Selfridge. Happy Easter to you!

That's so true. If you live in my part of the world, you will get a lot of rainy and cloudy days. So then you really appreciate the ones that are not ;-) Happy Easter.

Hello Gosia, the sky does look dangerous but it didn't rain and today the sun came out. Happy Easter from Canada.

Yes, our skies lately have been looking quite stormy. It is a beautiful day today however, both hubby and I are under the weather. Have a wonderful Easter weekend! I loved Downton Abbey the first two seasons then got bored of it. Perhaps in time I will try to catch up and see if I can get interested in it while it is on Netflix.

Hi Stephanie, I often used to hear that when it's raining in Vancouver it is beautiful on the Island, lol. I'm not sure it has been true this year. I hope you have a break in the weather over the weekend. We are having a bit of blue and some sunshine in the sky today so that is nice. I do think if you try again to watch Downton you will enjoy it again. Have a great weekend!

The birds make me wonder where they go and if they know that rain is coming. Nice capture.
