A Beautiful Sky ~ Skywatch Friday

Hi friends and fellow bloggers,

Another week has flown by. I hope it was a good one for you. Here is my post for Skywatch Friday this week.

My post today includes photos taken at the Granville Island Public Market located under the Granville Street Bridge.  This is a very popular spot with tourists and locals alike.

You can see the sky was clear blue and the weather was very pleasant. I was surprised because overnight there was a huge rainstorm. I was meeting several family members for a lunch at the Tap & Barrel. It's been a long time since I was there last. My food was actually too salty but I still enjoyed the time with family members I don't get to see that often.

There are two stores in the Net Loft building (above) that we had to stop at.  One was the Beadworks and the other was the Wickaninnish Gallery.  They were both full of customers but we were able to quickly get assistance and not take too much time to do our business before heading to dinner.

It looks lovely weather even though people still have jackets on. We have a Granville Bridge in Sydney. There was a dreadful train crash there many many years ago.

Looks like a great place to meet friends for dinner in the open air under a big beautiful sky.

It's a great place to either grab a snack to eat outside or find a wonderful indoor spot at one of the many eating establishments.

Thank you for the sentiment however Canada doesn't celebrate Memorial Day in remembrance of the Civil War. Instead we celebrate in November on Remembrance Day.
