Saturday's Critters
Hello friends, I hope all of you are well this fine weekend.
We were expecting rain in Vancouver but it turned out to be a pleasant day with intermittent sunshine. It allowed me to get a wee bit of work done in the garden. I planted some cabbage, beets and lettuce.
The other day I planted several types of flowers and managed to put some pansies into containers, as well as some geraniums and a few pots of herbs.
I still have a few more spaces I can plant so hope to do that next week as we are expecting rain now for the next few days.
This is one of many baboons I photographed in Lake Nakuru National Park. In another post I will show more of them.
Baboons are fun creatures to observe and you can spend hours watching them. I especially love it when I see a baby baboon with it's mother.

These goats slowed down our progress on the highway between Nakuru and Marigat in Kenya.
Goats are common creatures in Kenya. Many people raise them in place of cattle or in addition to cattle.

I've always enjoyed observing goats too, especially the baby goats (kids).

Skies Around Town
The skies were ever changing on Saturday.
Since then we've had sunshine but it is back to rain tomorrow just in time for the weekend.
I am so glad it is Spring and that I've been able to capture several days of tree blossoms.
Hopefully I'll have a chance to get more photos of the lovely blossoms. Today my focus is on skies but since tree blossoms are in full bloom, they also feature in the photos.
I'm joining with Skywatch Friday today.
Have a great weekend!

Another Day and I Couldn't Resist More Eye Candy
Yesterday I posted a lot of photos of tree blossoms.
Today I went back for more.
This time I tried for more close up shots.
Hopefully I still have some time to get to a different area and get shots of better kept (cared for) trees.

I hope you all had a pleasant Easter weekend.
I had a nice one.

Pink Eye Candy
Each year I look forward to trees blossoming in the Spring.
However, the last two years we have had very strange weather.
It makes it very difficult to get many good photos.
These particular trees on a busy city street don't seem well cared for at all.
I have never see anyone from the City of Vancouver pruning them, or otherwise looking after them.
Nonetheless their happy and generous pink blossoms give me a lot of pleasure.
Especially when I can take photos and view them again and again.
Such precious gifts I get every year for free and I look forward with anticipation to the time when they will arrive.
I feel so blessed to be the recipient of these glorious gifts that are given so freely.
All I have to do is be outside to savour their beauty.
I can enjoy them in the rain too.
But to share them with you, I like to photograph them on a sunny day.
Have a wonderful Easter Monday and thanks for stopping by.
