Is this a Magnolia Tree?

Hi friends, since I read about Mr. Magnolia on a blogger friend's post (click here) I've been wondering if these snap shots I took last Spring are of a Magnolia tree. Can anyone let me know?

    oh..i couldn't tell you exactly but they look like magnolias although a bit smaller

    Oh thank you for replying! I think you are right too. This one is a young tree so that might explain why it is a bit smaller. I went back to look at your wedding planning site and I couldnt find the post I was looking for :-( You have such beautiful photos in both your sites. Keep up the great work!
