A Little Rain on the Way

Hi friends,

Today it's a sunny day and rain is expected tomorrow and several days next week.

I got out last night to the community garden plot and felt a few sprinkles on my head though it waited until overnight for the rain to come down.

After I left the park I ended the day by going to a local coffee shop with my latest book.

I passed by this magnificent rhododendron bush and stopped to admire it awhile.

It's been a hectic year for me so far in 2019 with many things to accomplish.
I'm trying to pace myself but now and then things get a bit hectic.
I enjoy brief times of respite by going to the park, puttering around in my balcony garden or reading a good book at home or at the coffee shop.

Have a magnificent weekend.

Does it smell good or not? We don't have that type of flowers here in Turkey.

Beautiful!
My mother had a bush like that in our yard when I was little.
Thanks for the happy memories!

Rhododendrons are like each one a little bouquet! We had those in NC but not here in Florida! Enjoy!

I can see why this spot would be a beautiful respite for anything stressful. It's lovely.

Beautiful Rhododendrons! Once we rented a house (Netherlands) and in the garden there was a huge (at least 10 feet tall) with blooms a little darker than these.!
Thank you for your comment on my blog - I know that google+ has been abandoned, but I can't find the place at wordpress in how to change it - the editing of posts are much more complicated than at blogspot). There is are still the blogspot settings where they only have the google profile, that is giving me the same problems. Have a great weekend!

There is something wonderful about walking in the rain I think - as long as you have a decent jacket and warm place to head towards!

Lovely walk! I enjoy walking in the rain contemplating in solitude. Actually, my family call me Rain Woman in analogy with our favourite movie.
Have a nice week!

Nothing better than a good book and a coffee shop, especially on a rainy day! Love the rhodie pictures - from a distance, I like how the flowers form into a bouquet, but up close each one is its own little piece of perfection!

Beautiful photos before the rain. The rhododendrums are luxurious!! I love them, are they the same as "azaeleas"?? We have a lot of azaeleas here , nice to have a parallel in seasonal flowers, then after the rains we see hydrangea!! Hope you can enjoy a little rest in between your activities, looks like you are able to really enjoy it once you do. Blessings and Shabbat Peace!! Love!♡
