Merry Christmas and a Blessed, Peaceful Season

I wanted to share something with all my blogging buddies for Christmas.

Originally it was going to be a Christmas photo, But I came across this video which really "blew me away" and instantly knew this was what I wanted to share with you all.
The song is introduced by David Foster,  Canadian "boy" and well known music producer
and composer and sung by the wonderful Andrea Boccelli and the world reknowned
Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

Whether you are a Christian, or not,
I hope that the peace and beauty of this song will bless you.

Enjoy!

Peace, Joy, Love  & Hope,
be unto you.

Absolutely beautiful rendition of "The Lord's Prayer". I use this prayer almost every day now. It's a great pattern to pray by.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOURS!

Hi Fred, I'm glad you enjoyed this rendition of "The Lord's Prayer". I used to pray more frequently using this pattern and I need to get back to it.

MERRY CHRISTMAS to you and to Francis!

Thanks for this nice treat! Andrea B is my favorite. He has such a fantastic memory. As a musician, I think that without distractions, he can concentrate on his performance, making the tone quite special. I once had a professor who used to sing with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. He used to travel over 100 miles each way for practice and performances. (No excuses allowed with that choir.)
Have a wonderful Christmas!

Wow, Margaret. That is really interesting information. I think you are right about Mr. Bocelli being able to focus totally on the music when he performs. I suppose all good musicians can but in his case I think he has an added benefit.

The committment and dedication of the MTC members must be quite something given your example. Your professor showed real dedication to his singing passion.

Have a wonderful Christmas too!
