Lamplight keep on burning while this heart of mine is yearning.
Lamplight keep on burning till this love of yours is mine.
Lamplight keep on burning till this love of yours is mine.
Song: Lamplight (sung by the Bee Gees)
I stand at your gate and the song that I sing is of moonlight.
I stand and I wait for the touch of your hand in the June night.
The roses are sighing a Moonlight Serenade.

ReplyDeleteHi Regina, long time no see ;-) My mom is doing well. My leg is not a whole lot better and I've stopped acupuncture for now. I hope you get a chance to click on my links and hear the songs. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteGood grief Penny - I've been living in the bush too long ... I'm not familiar with either song ... thanks for sharing ...
ReplyDeleteThank you, WildBlack!
ReplyDeleteHi Graham, I understand that the first song, Lamplight, by the Bee Gees was not one of their bigger hits. But I'm pretty sure you must be familiar with the Bee Gees if only for their Saturday Night Fever hits ;-) The other song is a classic by the late, Glenn Miller, jazz musician and composer. He wrote the tune and another man wrote the lyrics. You might be more familiar with some of his other hits like : Chattanooga Choo Choo or In the Mood. If you're not, I encourage you to listen to some of his music. It's great swing band music.
ReplyDeleteHello Joyful.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful mood pictures - and really beautiful musk.
Wishing you a good weekend.
Hugs Hanne Bente ♥
