A Little Treat Before Nightfall

  1. What a beautiful sky, Penny. The moon is definitely a real treat. I wish I were there. Not that we don't have beautiful skies in Alberta, but I'm just feeling homesick for Beautiful BC today.

    1. Aw, so sorry. I know the homesick feeling. I've had it myself in years gone by. If it helps, these are not the skies today. Today the sky is still a bit gray though I think the sun may come out. Hugs. xx

  15. Hello Joyful.
Thanks for your comment on my blog.
Valter love photography - it seemed that he needed a little more advanced camera than he had.
He had a Canon EOS 500D, which is also a good camera, but EOS7D is better.
Wishing you a good day / weekend.
Have created a photo blog: hbt.finus.dk - if you want to look.

  19. I always love to see the moon and shoot a picture of it now and then.
Catching a bird in one of your shots is a great bonus.
Thanks for sharing and enjoy your weekend.

  20. Lovely photos, my little camera has not enough zoom to take the moon. It looks like a pin head in the sky!! I wonder what the bird was? Diane

    1. Hi Diane, I'm not 100% sure what kind of bird it is but I think Maria (below) might be right; an eagle. If you click the photo it enlarges and the bird looks to have a white head.

  21. Good morning!
Oh yes, you were given a treat! I enlarged the first photo and enjoyed looking at the bald eagle in your moonlit sky as well! What a thrill it is for me when I spot an eagle! It takes my breath away!
Wishing you a weekend filled with more blessings,
    ~ Maria
