Hello friends, it has been awhile since I updated the happenings in the Kenyan Missions of Hope. My friend Jonah is currently still on break from voluntary missions as he is working on other things at the moment. However he has finally seen the fruition of working with a community near Marigat, Kenya. This is a project in which I had a (very) small hand by funding the geologists report and finding the first funder to drill the borehole. It has taken a very long time to progress from that point but I'm happy to see that the project is now complete!
Please continue to keep Jonah and his future in your prayers. He is earnestly seeking
paid work in his field of training and passion.
You can access the full story of the borehole at Jonah's blog by clicking on the link beneath the photo. If you can visit there and leave a comment too that would be great!
God bless.

Wonderful, Penny. I'm so pleased about the water. It may seem like a small thing to us (or a disaster to some people here in Alberta) but it means so much to so many in Africa.
Luv, K
Well done Jonah and Penny! Water is so necessary and all over Africa people have to walk miles to collect it; children, women, old men. Thanks for all you do. Blessings, Jo
Dear Kay & Jo, I want to say a special thank you to the both of you for your comments on mine and Jonah's blog over time, and for the prayers and financial support you gave to the MOH. It is people like you and a few other friends who read this blog that have kept this small, grassroots missions going and encouraged on the the path of great challenges.
The people of the community deserve most of the credit for keeping the faith In God and in their determination to get water. Jonah was also very determined. They now reap the benefits of their labour and prayers. God bless and BIG hugs. xx
When I hear stories like this, I start to wonder about the word equality. I have a friend who is now a consultant in Ethiopia and occasionally shares with me the culture different from mine. God bless you more, Ms Joyful♡
Praise God, prayers continue.
And the water is so close (yet so far)? How amazing that such a simple thing should bring so much to so many.
If we're not resourceful in our country, we could be in deep trouble with our clean water supply, as well! Keeping Jonah in my thoughts and prayers, and God Bless you Penny for all the Mitzvah=good deed that you do! xo
Wonderful effort! I love what you have done.
Well done, Penny! Good work and God bless you in future works.
