I've been posting a lot of wild birds critters this past few weeks. The wildlife photos were all taken in Kenya, East Africa.

Aren't these zebras real beauties?
I managed to see all the ones in these photos at Lake Nakuru National Park located on the southern end of the City of Nakuru. On my day there it looked like many locals were enjoying the park.
How wonderful that this park is virtually located in city limits and yet there is a wonderful array of wildlife.

Oh, I love these beautiful animals !
Thanks for sharing your wonderful pictures !
Have a happy weekend :)
Saturday Greetings to you Joyful! Zebras are such a fascinating animal. If we take away the strips and color them brown they could be any ordinary horse. It makes me wonder how the evolutionists would describe the differences. I continue to enjoy the pictures you took in Africa, and yes, they just make me want to go see it for myself. My grandmother told me at a very young age, "You are very curious and that is good." As I get older I often find myself saying she was right ... at least it makes life more interesting. I would sure like to get to Africa and see all the unusual types of animals. Speaking of curiosity, I wonder, if you put all the time together that you spent in Africa, how long would it be? Wishing you a fine weekend and may I return wishes for a Happy Spring! John
Oh wow, Penny! What great photos of zebra in Lake Nakuru National Park! I wonder if I saw and photographed the "same" zebra! Hope you're enjoying a great Saturday. Jo
Beautiful Zebras, love it.
Zebras are amazing. I'm just looking at their patterns and I am fascinated with how they were created the way they are. I wonder what other reasobs are there behind their standout beauty. They are a camouflage to birch trees.
What beautiful animals, lucky you to see them in the flesh x
Beautiful, I'd love to see them in the wild!
zebras are such noble creatures. How great to see them in the wild.
They are such interesting critters. I have read that their stripes are brown, not black!!
Hi Debbie, from afar the stripes look black. Close up the stripes look a very dark brown. They are so pretty aren't they?!
Cracking series of images. Have a lovely weekend

I love these "horses with stripes" and where no two are the same. Everyone has a different stacked bars. Regards.
Wow, wonderful photos of the zebras.
Zebras are so beautiful! I have a large lithograph of zebras in Africa on the wall in my bedroom, so I see them every day. But to see them free in a large park is certainly way better. I have seen them also in large parks, one in Georgia and one in West Palm Beach and took many photos. Your photos are excellent.
Thanks for stopping at my blog.
Zebra's are such beautiful animals! You have some wonderful pictures here.
