Waning Days of Summer

Hi friends,

These are some photos I took on my one and only trip to the beach this summer.
There were quite a few people there and a lot of photographers set up with their equipment right at the waterfront.
In some cases they blocked the best views but I don't mind. I'm not a pro and I just wanted a few nice photos.
When I framed my photos I cropped out as many people as possible :-)

The beach outing was really for my niece so she could walk in the sand and see the waterfront.
After the sun set we stopped for an ice cream on the way home.
A simple little outing which was quite enjoyable.

In previous years I've mentioned how the weather changes from hot to a bit chilly overnight as of September 1st.
This year I noticed it getting chillier a bit earlier.
It is still nice and sunny during the day time.  But now I need a little covering to keep at a comfortable temperature if I'm going to be out after dark.

Joining in with Skywatch Friday.

Enjoy your weekend and thank you for your visit.

Good combination of vapor trails and light cloud.

I think we are on a similar weather pattern. And, I might say, too cool for the end of august or early September. Your photos are just lovely, Penny. It looks like a beautiful spot.

I have thought that fall was coming a little earlier than usual here too. But I won't complain; I'm ready for the cool.

Lazy beach days are ahead for me and not behind. Thank goodness.

A great variety of photos. I love to take photos at the beach as well. I just deal with what is in front of me, people and all.

Such beautiful beach pictures! Wow, you do live in a marvelous area! So very scenic. I guess your fall/winter will soon be upon you. Here in Florida we are still hot, hot, and more hot...but by the end of September we will be feeling a little cooler. Fall takes its sweet time getting here, but then it stays fall like temperatures all winter long pretty much, and we do enjoy that. We need to enjoy every season, regardless of the temperature, because it is all a part of God's beautiful plan for our world to replenish itself every year, season after season. So amazing! have a blessed and wonderful day!

I love those expansive views!

Looks like it was a nice outing! I guess the weather changes are common for the whole planet, causing various consequences. In our region leaves on poplars and birches began to wither before their time. They turn brown instead of normal yellow!
