Raindrops

One of my very favourite things to do in the garden is to take macro photos of leaves when they have rain drops or dew on them. I captured these the other day.  The last one was taken with a flash as the day had drawn to a close. That's why it's a bit bright.

The excessive rain of the past week and a half is more or less finished.
I'm looking forward to some sun to dry out my container pots and give some nourishment to the sprouts that are emerging in the garden.
Linking with Our World Tuesday.

Happy May 🌱🌱🌱
Have an awesome week ahead.

Oh, I love to see the raindrops. They shine like diamonds in the sun. So wonderful that you thought to capture those!!! Glad you had some good rains. We need it desperately here. Our pond is really drying up and I'm afraid the waterbirds and other wildlife will go away if we don't get some water back in there. But God is in control, and I will just have to be patient and wait on the rains to come. They will come I am sure... Thank you for sharing this. I loved these photos. More of God's beauty.

I like seeing details in a photo that we can't see with the naked eye.

We have just had too many raindrops recently, time it all dried out a bit. I have to agree though they make for great photos. Hope all is well Diane

I recently got a new macro lens and I'm having so much fun! I took such cool snowflake pictures and I am waiting for things to bloom here to get the flowers.

The raindrops on the grass reminded me of two quotes. 1. Let your life lightly dance on the edges of time like a dew on the tip of a leaf. (Tagore) 2. Life is no more than a dew drop balancing on the end of a blade of grass. (Buddha) Your raindrop photos are so fresh and lovely. Take care.
