Blue Monday on May 31, 2010

Franz Kafka's house in Prague (close to the castle), Czech Republic. I love this shade of blue *smile.

Interesting... if you had cropped the right side and left only the first two houses, I would easily have mistaken them for traditional houses in a small Chinese alley (hutong)...

That is interesting!

Thanks Lana for dropping by. I saw the movie Notting Nill also. Lovely neighbourhood they were filming in (where Hugh Grant's character lived and worked). Have a great week too, Lani.

Hi Jan, the old building all seem low to the ground (no matter where they are found it seems and unless they are castles). I was in Prague for almost 2 weeks and I discovered that most tourists from Europe are only there for a weekend so I was quite the novelty at my old town hotel. I really enjoyed Prague as I was there during the Christmas markets. I also went to Kutna Hora in CR. Fascinating.

It looks so colorful that it's like a street you'd expect to find in a fairy tale. It is a great shot. I hope you are having a great day. Blessings...Mary

So Franz Kafka lived in a blue house? Somehow, that seems very appropriate! I'd love to visit Prague. Great photo.
Happy Blue Monday!
