One Child at a Time

My friend Charles put me on to this film. After seeing the trailer I remember hearing about this story on CNN news. It touched me then and it touches me now. I think you will agree.

If you haven't already considered child sponsorship please do. Compassion International is one organization I can recommend.  If you can't make a multi-year committment, please consider a donation to Missions of Hope which also does a lot of good in Kenyan villages to help children and their families.  Blessings to you and yours.

Thank you, Diane. I believe if we can all do our part, we can eradicate hunger and poverty in the world. God bless you for your visit and your kind words.

Thank you for posting this video Penny. We cannot have too many requests for help - I was just discussing this yesterday with my OH as it is Sport Relief at the moment here in the UK and we have just had all the discussion surrounding the campaign by Invisible Children. I must admit I used to give more donations and not think about it, right now things are a bit precarious financially. I am still trying to give when I can(and when it is more difficult too) and also to raise awareness as much as possible through twitter, blogging etc. You are so committed to helping children in Kenya, blessings to you for all this work that you do. Your words are so true, each one of us can do our part. x

Thank you for your kind words, Jan. I understand what you mean about formerly giving and not having to think about it. I love the fact that you continue to give when you can despite the cost. To me that is really caring. If we can keep our humanity to those that are more vulnerable, we still have a hope that this world can be a much better place. Blessings to you as you continue to do your part. xx
