I see you have the same scenery as we have, only your leaves seem golden in the sunshine, in rain they look rather messy and sad !

Lovely trees.

Yes, you have to take pics when you see them this time of year. A gust of wind and the color is gone, or at least on the ground.

I'm with you. I photograph as much of the beautiful color as I can. I still have roses blooming (only a few) and some of my trees still have a lot of their leaves. They are like us, they want to hang on to the spring and summer as long as they can. Your photos are beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

What beautiful golden leaves on those trees! They magnify the sun's rays so well.

Penny,
Yesterday we had our first snow. It didn't accumulate much just .2 of an inch. Very good photos of a fall day. There's not too many trees left with leaves on them around here.

They litter the streets with gold.

Hi Pat, you might remember, we had our first snow on the mountain tops several weeks ago. I snapped my header photo then. Yesterday (Monday) we had our second snow and one of the area ski slopes will open today as a result. When they showed it on television it looked like a lot of snow! I can't even see the mountains today because of the low lying cloud and gray skies but I'm sure there is fresh snow on the mountains in my header photo. Have a great week.

Gorgeous, golden world you have -- now, if you just didn't have to rake the leaves! Terrific captures for the day!!

It must be a very special feeling being in the middle of all those yellow leaves! Almost other worldly!

Autumn is my favourite season! Nothing compares to its beauty and coziness. At least for me...
Great photos. Thanks for sharing. It's this time of year, this Aussie girl begins to feel jealous of her northern neighbours!

The gold and green mingling together look sensational, as will the new leaves in a few months time.
