Enjoying a Clear Day

When it rains a lot it's always a pure joy to see the sky on a clear day.
Even better when the view is so lovely

*Total rainfall to date in 2018 1008.6 mm

I also love the twinkling light at night
and
the cross on the top of the steeple.

Even though I've done a lot to prepare for Christmas I feel the advancement of time.
So much to do yet but the most important thing is not to stress and to enjoy the Christmas season.

Linking up with

Our World Tuesday

 Enjoy your week ahead.

You've sent the cloud out here . We've had 24 cm of snow the last two days.

Hi Red, I think you guys get a lot of sun in Winter so please share from time to time :-)

What a beautiful view and some great shots here. Seeing snow though even on the top of the mountains makes me feel cold 😊 Hope that you have a good week, Diane

Thank you Diane. I do love seeing the snow at the mountain top and so far the weather hasn't seemed as cold as it has the past two years though the Winter in most of Canada is expected to be very cold this year. Have a great week too.

Hi Penny,
I can't believe it's Advent already...and Christmas will be here soon...such a busy time of waiting...
~Have a lovely day!

Here, the skies are cloudy and gray. Sigh.

Yes time flies by Teresa. Have a lovely Advent :-)

Sorry Sharon. I hope you get some sunshine soon!

Your shots are what I think of as common winter season photos

That's an interesting comment. I'm not sure exactly what you mean since the weather in the photos isn't common here where I live in Winter where it's usually raining heavily. It also isn't common in the rest of Canada which is usually under snow. The snow is the photos is only at the top of the mountain for which I am grateful ;-)

I always enjoy your photos of the scenery around you. It's so pretty. I don't know what the person above me meant about common, but it's certainly not common in my area!
Yes, I need to remember to not get too caught up in the busyness of this season, but to enjoy!

Beautiful.
And I agree.
Time passes quickly.
I am trying so hard to stay in the moment, and not stress.
Have a cozy evening. : )

Thank you Carol. Lights at night in the dark of winter are some of my favourite things. When I went out tonight to find the star for my tree I saw a lot of lights all around the city.

Joyful said...

Thank you Mari. That's sweet of you to say. I too love to see the scenery elsewhere, in person and in photos. It's amazing how one can feel a bit stressed no matter how prepared. To be honest I am not usually so far ahead in Christmas preparation (as in having all my cards done, tree up, presents wrapped) and I still feel a bit stressed here and there. I think it's because I want to be sure to visit several friends, take a quick trip to see my niece and then in the New Year there are big plans :-)

Thank you for the visit Billie Jo. I hope you will have a lovely Christmas season in your beautiful, new home.
