Fall is in the Air

This is the current book at the top of my reading pile. I'm enjoying it immensely and it makes me feel as if I too am in the mountains with the gorillas.

I wanted to share some Fall season photos but haven't been out to take any good ones.  We have had rainy, wet weather since late last week so that hasn't helped to do any photo taking.

The following photos are from my archives and were taken a few years ago.  I hope you enjoy them.

The next photo was taken with the camera phone on Wednesday, September 24th.  It was just after a heavy duty wind and rain storm and the night was falling fast.

The next few photos were also taken with my phone camera while I was doing some errands in between the rainfall.

Thank you for stopping by. I'm linking up with Skywatch Friday today and Saturday's Critters. I hope you all have a safe and happy weekend.

Beautiful! Our leaves here are just on the cusp of turning their colors. It'll probably be another couple of weeks at least before we really see them in their full glory.

Hello Penny,
The book sounds interesting, I will see if my library has it available.
The fall colors are looking beautiful there, beautiful trees. We are had a drought this summer I do not think we will see the lovely fall colors. Great series of photos. Have a great day, happy weekend!

We don't have 4 seasons here and it is always nice to see pictures of colourful autumn in blog posts.

'A forest in the clouds' is a book on the biodiversity of forests that I would like to read too.
Autumn photos look beautiful like paintings.

Greetings from Indonesia.

Hello Penny,

Thanks for sharing the book, I can only imagine seeing the Gorillas wild in the mountains. The fall colors and trees are looking beautiful. The birds seem to love sitting on the wires, a common sight here too. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Enjoy your day, wishing you a great weekend.

Love the photos...both old and new! Would love to go where we could see some real fall leaves, but we will be happy with the few we have here. And today it is finally raining again. Things were starting to dry up and I needed to get out and water my few plants...but now I don't have to! Enjoy your autumn days.
