Many of my readers will know of my love for Kenya. I thought it appropriate for Skywatch Friday to feature the Kenyan skies. I have some of my own photos here of Kenya but I also wanted to introduce you to a wonderful new gospel singer in Kenya by the name of Alice Kamande. Ms. Kamande has a beautiful voice and here is her video where she sings "Wewe Pekee".

My connection is too slow for the music but the African skies look wonderful. Diane
What a beautiful countryside!
Glad you enjoyed the sky photos, Diane. Sorry you couldn't hear the beautiful song.

P-TER
Beautiful photos and beautiful song!
That gorgeous sky over Kenya made my day. I've watched AfriCam in the past and marveled at Kenya and its animal sightings. Lovely, inspiring blog you have!
Beautiful! Especially the third :)
Very nice pictures, and wonderful song by a beautiful and talented singer!!
Kenya looks very rich in natural resources. Why there are so many poor people there? Correct me if I am wrong when I say poor, thanks!
oh my! what a lovely place
The sky in the video is beautiful as well...and the golds of the grain!
I agree that Ms. Kamande has a very nice voice. They= video was put together very well (splicing in all those changes of clothing) and fun to watch.
Beautiful skies! And I love the main picture of your blog, what an amazing flower. I would love to see it growing, and I wonder how large it grows.
Wonderful shots, and perfect for Skywatch Friday. This is a part of the world I'd love to visit one day.
Well I lost my whole comment! My computer became delayed..each letter was backed up then I went to delete a sentence and poof. Hmm..
Well, she is gorgeous and what a fabulous voice!! She even looked good in each change of clothes (ha ha). Would be nice to see the lyrics too. What a setting..looked like fields of wheat or something! Didn't you think her head bands were pretty..not sure what they'd call it, but over here they make flower leis called hah-koo) last part sound like you'd say a dove cooing. The country side is beautiful..wishing you a wonderful weekend and a happy skywatch:)
Her voie is amazing! Joyful, as you have posted blogs about Kenya, now this country is getting more familiar to me. Thank you for sharing. Have a nice week!

My favorite was the picture of the National parrk - amazing!
Your photos are wonderful as usual and her voice is beautiful. Great video!
Thank you, Candace. I'm glad you enjoyed the video too ;-)
I share your love of the park and the view from Baboon Cliff.
You're welcome Mildred. I too think that Ms. Kamande's voice is so beautiful.
I agree with you on the voice Snowwhite. I am glad you are getting familiar with Kenya. Just like I am getting familiar with part of Japan.
So many weird things go on with blogger. I'm sorry that you lost your comment. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I have a few Swahili readers. Maybe they could translate for you, ha!
You would do well to visit Kenya, Al. You would enjoy so many photo opportunities!
The song she is singing gets into my head. It was running through my brain today ;-)
The video is professionally done that is for sure. It is so beautiful.
Kenya is indeed very rich in natural resources. I can't even begin to comment on your question except to say that there are many rich people there in Kenya and also many poor people. If you would like more information you can probably find a lot more on line.
Thank you for your visit and your kind words about my photos. I think you are probably already familiar with the singer ;-)
Thank you for your kind words.
Thank you, Birgitta.
