May Skies

A big welcome and thank you to Leovi for deciding to follow my blog.

In everything give thanks:
for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
1 Thessalonians 5:18

It is nearly the end of May and our skies have been more like these photos show than what should be happening now...sun.

My garden is not fully in and whatever I did plant is swimming in a bit of rain. Hopefully there will be some pretty flowers and some veggies this summer. I am not complaining. Just observing. Things could be much worse than some rain. There are still lots of pretty flowers and greenery to look at elsewhere.

You have such an eye for beauty!  I love your garden - I am not very successful, for some reason, at growing flowers. Do I see pansies?

Thank you, Michelle. Actually the garden is not mine. I was on a stroll and took the garden shot in front of an apartment building. I do have pansies in my own garden in a container pot. I do love pansies. I have the same issue of not being able to grow flowers though I see this year the perennials I planted seem to be doing much better. They would do even better if it wasn't raining so much.

Judy, hopefully we'll both have improvements soon ;-)

I hope flowers in your garden will be in full bloom very soon! Joyful, this year ,weather is something wrong. In Japan, two weeks earlier than usual , already the rainy season started. Every day, rain, rain, rain. But rainy season is really important to grow rice. More rain is better than no rain. I either do not complain. What is an unique tree in the photo the second from the bottom? A kind of pine tree? Pine cones?
 Have a nice week!

Hi there..well your taking a break as well. Its good rather than close up altogether (sigh)- thanks for your words.
So your getting some rain? Well, my camera literally took a dive last week, so I may be relying on archives and my cell phone for some time. May be able to salvage something inside still, who knows?
Anyhow, your photos are pretty. Well, I was late getting my bed in then I lost my leftover seeds (lol) My son said he'd help me out as he has extra he'd started. I'll still be scratching my head aout this as I'd looked high an low. I'm thinking it went out with the trash becasue I normally put them in a ziplock and into the fridge. Oh well..wishing you a lovely peaceful weekend-
