Life is Beautiful

"Life is full of beauty. Notice it. Notice the bumble bee, the small child, and the smiling faces. Smell the rain, and feel the wind. Live your life to the fullest potential, and fight for your dreams.”

Despite the thorns on this cactus, it's flowers are very beautiful and delicate.
Euphorbia milii var. splendens (Crown of Thorns)

Enjoy a beautiful week!

  1. That is one wild-looking flower, I'm not sure I'd want to get near it! You borehole post below is incredible - a peek into a world I've never seen.

  2. Al, you make me chuckle. Please enjoy the beautiful flower but don't put your hand on it's stem! I'm glad you enjoyed the peek into a northern Kenyan village. Most people will never get there so I'm happy to share all about it.

  10. Beauty among the thorns! Blessings among the troubles of life. I thought of you this morning when I was breaking that half bushel of beans that Frances then cooked and put in the freezer.
