Wonderful macroshots, great work, so lovely :)
ReplyDeleteMy hydrangeas go through all sorts of shades. They start out almost white then go blue and some a bit pink but then they all end up a dark mauve as they start drying out. Lovely photos. Diane

@ Moni, thank you so much for your wonderful comment!
ReplyDelete@ Diane, that's great to know! I don't have any hydrangeas myself so I can't watch the progression of growth and colour.
@ Yisselle, thank you for your visit and your follow. I'm going to check out your blog too! Always great to have a new follower.
Hi Penny, such beautiful flowers! I planted a border of them before and still have them here and there. Amaing because the slugs are such a pain! We've been getting wasps as well though that looks like a fruit fly? I'm on my mobile and can't jump back to the page right now. Wishing you a peaceful weekend-
ReplyDeleteHi Regina, I'm glad you like the flowers. I really don't like slugs but I imagine they must be good for something. Just not sure what, lol. That is actually a wasp, not a fruit fly on the leaf above. Perhaps you can't see if since it will only be a small speck on your mobile ;-) Thanks for your visit. I wish you a wonderful weekend too!
ReplyDeleteI particularly like hydrangeas, have many in my garden.
ReplyDeleteWarmly ♥ Marianne

Beautiful shots! Hydrangeas are my favorite :)
ReplyDeleteHydrangea is a beautiful flowers - especially the blue ones!
ReplyDeleteI like hydrangeas. Mother in law had a most beautiful one that stood seven feet tall and filled out ever year with beautiful flowers. You captured the pictures very nicely - of the wasp and the flower. Its strange how they seem to be so extra abundant some years. I have no idea why.
ReplyDeleteI love blue hydrangeas and these are gorgeous. Ours are all pink.
ReplyDeleteIf you have so many wasps, let me remind you that the best treatment for wasp sting is mud. Just put some mud on it and pain goes away instantly. In a few minutes you will not even see the sting mark. I've learned this cure from my grandmother and tried it out many times.
Gorgeous flower. And someone is visiting the flower ^_^ Happy weekend!

All of my hydrangeas start out white and become tinged with the main color. I have one plant that I'm never quite sure what color will finally be there when it's in full bloom! Nice captures.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers.
ReplyDeleteLove the third photo, you make the hydrangea look so delicate.
ReplyDeleteI love hydrangeas!
ReplyDeleteThanks for this beautiful Weekend Flowers! The Hydrangeas here have nearly gone now, but your ones are very lovely :)
