I read your post and the linked one with a lot of joy. I know that the area is a violent one, often between the Turkana and the Pokot. I pray that peace comes to the region and that God blesses all the efforts that are made to help these dear people towards a more peaceful and prosperous life.
I LOVE this photo!!! I've always love the Masai but as a child they were a bit scary!
As to what I said on Linda's site: it is just in the thought stages so no where near definite now. There is actually someone running the program now but he needs a lot of direction so.....we will see...and pray...

Hi Penny! I was just over at Neil Lawrence's Blog and saw you had been there. Neil and Jennifer have opened a facebook page and by reading their notes you can get an up-date. Recently he had a very bad thing happen where he lost his vision totally for a short while. He is now in Asheville, North Carolina, receiving treatment, but still has a long way to go to recover fully. I would appreciate your prayers for his eyes.
