Because of the recent Roma brouhaha, and especially because of the two children taken from the Irish tinkers and later returned, I've begun rereading The Enormous Room. How little changes.
Very pretty photos, my friend. My niece, who lives in Victoria, spent her lunch break on the beach yesterday and her photo looked much like yours only with more fog. She could barely see the water. Those clouds and fog are what I don't care for on the coast. But, I do love the leaves in November there in Vancouver. We spent a week in Vancouver with our daughter last year and the leaf colours were magnificent!
Beautiful photos and a very poignant post. Thank you for the link. Ever since I was a little girl in England I have always been interested in learning about the American Indian. I love learning about their history and culture. So much to learn!
The leaves are so beautiful! Here in Sicily we're still having pretty hot weather, the sun really strong today. Last night though we had our first rain, with lots of thunder and lightning.
