I grew up in NW Pennsylvania, right near the Canadian border, and there is nothing like an autumn in the north! I miss those deep reds and oranges...thank you very much for sharing! Chrissie x

You're having a lovely autumn. The George Elliot quote makes me smile. I think of her more as a Silas Marner/Adam Bede kind of person, yet there was Middlemarch.
