The young shopkeeper came out to water the flowers as I was photographing them. I thought it was very charming of him to tend to flowers that are growing on the side of the street. Perhaps he planted them. Anyway, they make a nice touch in an otherwise not so pretty area.

Fading you said, but their colors are still vibrant and beautiful. Lovely photos, Joy.
ReplyDeleteAmong my favorite flowers. I grow several varieties in my little yard.
ReplyDeleteDie Lilien sind faszinierende Blüten...schön, daß es Leute gibt, die sich auch um die Blumen am Wegesrand kümmern....

So true, they make a boring spot lively! Beautiful flowers! - http://travels.gmirage.com/?p=486
ReplyDeleteBeautiful macro shots.
ReplyDeleteMy entry.
I think your mosaic is lovely and this color would brighten any dreary spot! I just stepped out to see if I could capture a butterfly who was moving way to fast for my sad camera! I have a few in a similar shade that must be hidden in tall grass. I have much work to do and need to put combat boots on to face it! (Lol)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos of the heart of the lily!
