Skywatch Friday

We've been having storms and very high winds today so I've dug through my archives for today's submission to Skywatch Friday.

These photos of a June sunrise are taken from my patio.
Isn't the sky beautiful?

I miss summer already :-(

I smiled when I read your words about today's rain and wind storms in your vicinity. On Saturday my blog post will include memories of such storms during every Thanksgiving week (in the US) just slightly south of you, in Puget Sound -- or at least it seems like it happens every Thanksgiving. It as if it's scheduled on a calendar. Today here in Missouri it was sunny and warm and my husband played golf!

Blessings, Penny. :)

Linda, it's interesting how you remember storms every Thanksgiving. As for me, I never seem to remember this. Perhaps because the timing is not associated with our Thanksgiving in Canada. It always seems to me like we are getting storms too early! LOL. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

That's so beautiful Penny, I can imagine how you miss summer. You really have long, cold winters. Brrr. But you keep warm and give yourself a hug from me! Blessings, Jo xxx

Hi Jo, you know as a young child, one loves the snow. Usually by the time you reach my age, you prefer the warmth of the sun. I am keeping warm though. I must getting acclimated. Hugs and blessings.

The skies are always changing and you have captured two different moods - both beautiful in their own way.

Dianne, you are so right about quickly changing skies. It's amazing what we can see here in the space of a day sometimes.

Your sky looks lovely and peaceful here. Summer will come again....

Pheno, thanks for your comment. These were not actually stormy clouds, just clouds that dispersed as the sun came up :-)

Thank you, Gatinna. I appreciate your comments.

Pieces of Sunshine, thank you. I appreciate your encouragement. I can't be missing the sunshine too much now as we've got many months yet before it returns on a regular basis.
