What could be better than a warm day's walk watching the peaceful scene of ducks on the water and breathing in the glorious scent of wild roses?

Joining in with Our World Tuesday today.

Beautiful world and beautiful shots, Penny. In our old house here in Marquard I had one of those grassy/spiky bushes. It was beautiful. In autumn it sprouted seeds which would pop (loudly) every so often in the garden. Quite an experience. I never knew the name of the plant as I think it's exotic and I'm not good with exotic as I try to stay with indigenous en endemic! Thanks for sharing this peaceful scene. Blessings Jo PS Re your comment on the three friends (Grant, Bertus and Rudi) meeting up: they ARE known as The Three Muskateers but I didn't want to say it. LOL!

Love the flowers. That Mallard in the first photo is perfectly framed by the vegetation.

A pretty walk with lots of wildlife to look at. The mallard in the first shot has lots of white stress feathers. Makes me wonder what has happened to her.
