My Week

It's been a busy week of homemaking and staying indoors as I'm still feeling a bit poorly.

Alterations for my niece.

Baked cinnamon buns

Added frosting so I could use up the cream cheese. I didn't realize I put it on so messily.

Rustic bannock bread to go with the soup in the Instant Pot.

A version of comforting hamburger soup bubbling away.

Third book finished in 2018.

Second afghan under way.
I won't be making any more baked desserts as it isn't good for  my blood sugar but it sure tasted good!
I hope you are having a good week wherever you are.

You are right. Sitting around doing nothing makes me jumpy.

Cinnamon buns will make anyone feel better. If not, there is always hot soup and bread.

Thank you Teresa. I wasn't sure about the colour but one doesn't know what it will look like until you've made a larger piece.

Wow that bannock looks really interesting. Is it a traditional recipe? I am sure that I have never eaten bannock. Get well soon.

I'll try this again. You're living a really hygge life up there with your soup and bread and cinnamon buns, a good book and afghan (very pretty!) All you need are the slippers and you'll be the hygge2018 poster child! Now I'm hungry!

Oh Joyful, hope you feel better and unbelievable all you get done when you’re poorly-can’t imagine how much you do when well. Photos are well done of all but I love those colors in that beautiful afghan! Stay warm and well. Soup should help! (prayers for you and wellness)
