The First Signs of Spring

The cherry blossoms are just starting to come out on one tree near my place.
No signs of blossoms are yet visible in most of the other trees around where I live but it won't be long now.

I had to use my Android phone camera which doesn't take the best of photos.

I couldn't help myself. I had to capture these blossoms because every year I anticipate the blossoms with eagerness and joy when I finally see them.
I hope to share better photos soon.

Happy Tuesday and happy week ahead.

I'm linking up with

Our World Tuesday this week.

Thanks for stopping by!

Will soon be leaving for Vancouver Island and my sister-in-law who lives in Victoria says the blossoms are out there too.

Nice photos of elegant, beautiful Sakura blossoms. No flowering here in Nara yet, but in southern Kochi, Sakura are at their best. Have happy days ahead.

Cherry blossoms are favorites. They are early, cover a whole tree and are attractive. Enjoy them.

What a beautiful sight! I can't believe you have blossoms already! I thought you were further north than me and we still have snow with no signs of flowers.

Jumping for joy at your new header and spring post!! Wow! That was fast!! So beautiful and pretty and precious are the first blossoms!
I love your photos, you have such a sensitive eye and it shows in how you show the cherry blossoms.♡♡♡

Hi Shayndel, you touched me with your compliment today. You live in a country where cherry blossoms are at their best so your comment means a lot to me. Today when I was on the western side of the city I noticed the cherry blossoms are much more advanced in their blooms than in the eastern part I have to get out soon with my camera.

I love any fruit tree blossoms, but I think cherry blossoms are my favorite because of how very delicate they are. I hope you are doing well. xx

I’m grateful we are not getting the nor’easter places just to our south are. I don’t even have a crocus yet! Keep those lovely blooms coming. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

Nature knows how to put on a show. Just beautiful photos!
I would love to see Japan during cherry blossom time.
We are having snow. 10 inches so far and its very cold.

Annie, I was hearing on the news today that there is a state of emergency in the northeast (I think I heard that right). Stay safe and warm. As for us, we have our first signs of Spring but the weather report is for cold temperatures and snow by Friday. I can hardly believe it.

Those blossoms are so beautiful and a true sign of Spring. Here in S. Florida, we have the most beautiful trees with colorful blossoms of yellow, pink, red, all over the neighborhoods. I should pay more attention and take photos of it! Have a wonderful weekend, my dear friend!
