Solo Hummingbird

I  happened to look out the window when a little hummingbird was hovering above a bush on my property. It stayed for a short while and I was able to get a few photos though not close ups.  I didn't have time to properly focus, zoom or steady my phone before the little bird flew off.

One day I hope to put out the hummingbird feeder and maybe more hummingbirds will visit.

As you can see the sky is grey and we've had rain.
I just looked at the weather forecast and we're supposed have rain for the entire week.
It kills my hope of getting photos of the spring tree blossoms in sunshine-y weather.
I guess I can make do with the photos I've taken in other years.

Joining in with Skywatch Friday.

Keep safe.

Hello, I found the cute hummer. I heard the hummer have been seen returning to our state. Our skies are much the same here, cloudy and raining. Stay well, take care! Enjoy your weekend,Eileen

Took me a minute but I found the hummer. I hope to see some - usually when our columbine bloom. I think most of us will be making do with photos from other years, but it is also good to share those memories.

Yes, ~ by all means ~ we would enjoy older photos you have ~ Hummers are so hard to photograph I think ~ at least for me.

I could not live on the coat. Too much dreary weather.

Oh how wonderful. I haven't seen any here yet, and I need to put out some feeders. They usually do arrive around this time of year. Take care and stay healthy.

Wow - I'm really surprised you saw one already! They are such amazing birds.

I'm hoping to have some feeders out this year as well.

You will have great skies soon enough, just hang in there.

I was fascinated by the humming birds when we were in Nevis. Beautiful little birds, I wish we had them. Hope all is well with you. We are doing just fine and using up food that is bottled or frozen which we should have used before!! Stay safe Diane

Your little hummingbird is so cute perched up on the leaf!! Great photo!
Hope the blossoms will stay in bloom a little longer, past the rain so you can enjoy them on a sunny day!! ♡
