This was the view on many nights from my hotel room in downtown Vancouver. Some of my old readers will know that I stayed in a hotel for 4 months last summer after a fire in my building. It was nice to be away but nice to get home too. After all, a hotel is only novel for so long *smile. One thing I do miss is the fantastic water views and sunsets.
Thank you for dropping by and a big shout out to all my new readers. You make me happy and I hope you will come again soon.

What a fabulous view! My husband has some clients in Vancouver and just loves it there. I hope to visit one day. It seems like such a beautiful city, and everyone I've met from there I really like. You are blessed.
XO,
Sheila :-)
Hi Sheila, nice to see you again. I'm so glad to hear that you and your husband have fond thoughts of Vancouver and Vancouverites. It really is a beautiful city and though sometimes we city folk can seem reserved, it doesn't take much to see that we are really friendly. I do hope you will get a chance to visit sometime. xx
Yes beautiful view in a beautiful city, and to me it would be difficult too in a hotel. Were your neighbours there too?
Love and Blessings - Jan
What a beautiful sky. Great shot
Thank you Jan. My neighbours were not at the hotel. Each of them were in different hotels as according to whatever policies/plans of our respective personal insurers. Thankfully I didn't find it too difficult in the hotel but I was able to move out and get home by the time I was getting tired of it :-) Have a great weekend.
Thank you Riet.
WOW, I'm stunned! What a great shot!

A fantastic sunset and a fabulous view, but like you said, a hotel stay is fun for a certain time and then you want your own castle again!
Enjoy a lovely weekend. T.
Splendid Little Stars, thank you for your visit. It is great to be back home and have all the renovations done! Believe it or not we had another 6 months of renovations in the building after moving back in. Thankfully most of it was out of the unit.
