We've had some beautiful spring days this past week. I spent some time gazing at the sky through the blossoming branches.
How is the weather where you are?
Thank you for stopping by my Skywatch Friday Post for this week.

Hello friends and fellow bloggers,
I've been super busy this week so I haven't had time to get out and about. These have photos were taken from my balcony in early evening.
This week nature gifted us with tree blossoms. It hasn't been too warm but still the blossoms came out almost overnight
These macro photos were taken the day after when I went out for errands.
It's still chilly especially during the evening. During such weather I always love to see the twinkling night lights of the ski slope in the distance. They look so pretty.
I took these photos on Thursday for Skywatch Friday.
It was a glorious, sunny day and a harbinger of better days to come though we're going to get a lot of rain, maybe even some snow this weekend. We need it for our water table.
Hello friends and fellow bloggers,
Thank you for joining my submission to this week's Skywatch Friday.
We've returned to rain which has melted all the snow and warmed temperatures considerably. I couldn't be happier.
You can see from the photos that the clouds look pretty dramatic this week so a lot more rain is on the way.
Take care and stay safe.
Hello friends and fellow bloggers,
We're at the tail end of our winter snow and very cold temperatures if we can believe the weather forecast.
I had to go out yesterday and today to deal with a malfunctioning cell phone. I bundled up as if I was in minus 40 degree weather with long johns and double layers on top, winter books, a neck scarf and gloves. My upper legs and toes were still very cold. I'll chalk it up to poor circulation because I'm usually always cold some people aren't bothered by the weather at all.
In fact, I saw 3 people out yesterday with bare legs and improper footwear. One person didn't even have a winter jacket on. Today I saw 2 more people who weren't adequately dressed but today felt much warmer than yesterday.
I'm looking forward to rain this weekend because it will bring warmer temperatures. Right now, the temperature is 1 Celsius and the day's high was 3 Celsius. Last night someone told me we broke a weather record for the day at - 6 Celsius. I tell you it felt much, much colder. Probably because we have damp air.
The above photos were all taken on a walk to the cellular service provider.
Today I took one photo on West Broadway Street looking north towards downtown. You can see some towers in the background. These are part of a massive rental development project led by the local area First Nations. Once completed there will be new homes for 6000 people and they are sorely needed.
I'm joining in with Skywatch Friday. Thank you for stopping by!
Hello friends and fellow bloggers,
Welcome to my Skywatch Friday post. I snapped these photos on my way to buy some produce at some of the smaller shops in another neighbourhood.
Hi friends and fellow bloggers,
I hope you are well today.
October gives us a mixed bag of weather. We've had some spectacular, sunny days and clear blue skies and we've also had days where it pours like cats and dogs. The particular day I snapped these sky photos for you, we had a brief spell of pouring rain.
I had gone to the post office to check mail. Imagine my surprise when I came outside to see the rainbow. Initially I thought it was just the very faint rainbow I saw near the church steeple but when I turned my head, I was amazed to see a full rainbow arc and it was a beautiful sight.
Hello friends and fellow bloggers,
I hope you are all doing well this end of the month of August. For those of us in the western hemisphere, the end of August typically signals the end of the summer and back to school for those with children. In fact, many already seem to have begun the school year earlier this month. How did that happen?!
Most schools where I live will start classes after the August/September long weekend and head back to classes on September 3, 2024. This rings true for school age children and those studying at the colleges and universities.
Over the past 2 weeks or so, it was raining and the temperature chilled quite a bit although the forecast is for warmer temperatures through to at least Sunday where we may reach 30 degrees Celsius. I think that will be it for our summer however and the forecast is for a colder (and wetter where I live) winter this year due to the effects of La Niña. I am hoping to do a bit of window proofing earlier this year to prepare for it.
Right now I'm just going to enjoy the sunshine that there is.
This photo was taken on the renovated balcony. Unfortunately, it took all summer to do the work and so we were not able to plant the garden or enjoy the finished result during the summer season. I'm now trying to see what I can do before the rain sets in this autumn.
Hello friends, It's been a very busy few weeks. I've been in the process of renewing and refreshing my home and garden. This has in...
