Yesterday, it was so lovely to meet Kay from Medicine Hat and her Unfittie's Guide to Adventurous Travel blog. Kay came into the city while visiting family and friends in the Lower Mainland. We had a chance on Grey Cup day to meet and get to know one another over coffee.
The coffee shop was jam packed with students studying and cramming and people watching the Grey Cup game on the courtesy screens. At times it got a little loud, but we carried on talking over the din.
Kay and I have a mutual blogging friend, Jo, and that is how we came to know each other's blogs. Kay has a kind heart as she was one of the people who contributed to help this little boy in Kenya. We didn't get a chance to take a photo together. Perhaps next time.

I'm happy because this is the second blogger buddy I got to meet in person. Both experiences have been wonderful. I hope I get even more opportunities in future to meet more blogging friends.
To cap off the day, the BC Lions won the Grey Cup!! Yeah!!!

Have just caught up with your blog Penny - that chocolate 'thing' (brownies? pudding?) looked to die for. Fancy living in a location that has such a knockout view from the window... mountains are by far and away my favourite type of scenery, and I could sit and stare dreamily at them all day... And the pink flowers are so beautiful - you see the beauty in everything.

How exciting..terrific photos Penny! The snow on the mountains below are gorgeous!! The last couple mornings its been pretty cold for us but the previous snow melted but if this keeps up we should get more.

Hi Regina, I'm still having to wrap my head around you getting snow!! LOL. I would love to see it up close some day. It was a beautiful day of sunshine today. I think tomorrow is rain but the rest of the week is supposed to be sunny.
Penny are you kidding? there are two ladies with a checkered scarf and one has glasses so which is the blogger??

Hello Heidi, it might be difficult to see with 6 eyes ;-) but the woman with the checked scarf is actually shown twice in the photo. She is wearing glasses in one shot and not in the other.
