Spring Is Here

Two months ago, I said that Spring was coming, lol. We had signs of new life in the garden. Sadly it ended up being quite cold for much of the time since but at last I think we've turned the corner. We've had glorious sunshine and warm temperatures this past week.

Currently we are back to rain but the sun will return in a few days. I am enjoying the cherry, apple and plum blossoms at this time of year.  I took these photos in my neighbourhood and deliberately shot into the sun on a hurried trip to the market.  I would like to get out to other parts of the city to enjoy more blossoms if I have time before these fleeting blossoms are gone for another year.

I hope you are enjoying your spring season.

I'm linking up with Skywatch Friday where you too can visit and see so many lovely skies from around the world. Have a lovely weekend.

The trees are certainly either in bud or in blossom, but the weather is not saying it is spring here! Have a good weekend Diane

Oh, blossoms. Oh, sigh. I'd love to be there to see them, Penny. This makes me homesick.
However, sometime in May, we will have blossoms here. Only a month and a half more to wait, and then I'll have mock orange blossoms, Nanking cherry blossoms, and ornamental crabapple blossoms.
It's the waiting that's the hard part.
Did I say "sigh"?
Well, I'm actually very happy for you and all my other friends at the coast. Spring in Vancouver is a joy to behold.

Hello Joyful.
Great to see that it has been spring with you. Yet there are no major signs of spring here. We have plus degrees and the next day, but minus degrees at night. In my garden there is still snow in bedene.Vi have had the coldest March in 26 years ...... so everything is delayed. Hope you are well. Wish you a good weekend :) Hugs Hanne Bente

Wow the blossoms look so beautiful. Spring is late in UK and I can't wait for it to warm up.

Bradford Pear trees are in full bloom here. They're lovely to look at but they stink to high heaven!
