"November comes
And November goes,
With the last red berries
And the first white snows.
With night coming early,
And dawn coming late,
And ice in the bucket
And frost by the gate.
The fires burn
And the kettles sing,
And earth sinks to rest
Until next spring."

Nice poem. Both pictures are lovely. Who did the Halloween decoration?
ReplyDeleteHi Mina, it is actually Harvest decoration. In Canada, October used to be a month of being thankful and celebrating the end of harvest season. The display was set up at the local grocers.

A time to celebrate harvest's end and rejoice with Thanksgiving. Here in Australia it brings the warmer end of spring as summer's heat begins. For our family, November brings three birthdays and this year, much travel for some.
ReplyDeleteOoo Wow. are those fallen leaves or flower petals?
ReplyDeleteHappy November to you :)
